Onward manages around 1,100 homes across Preston, including 700 homes in the Queen Street and Avenham neighbourhood. Last year, we confirmed our decision to demolish the three tower blocks in the Queen Street and Avenham neighbourhood and replace these with modern homes that better reflect local housing needs. We are committed to providing quality housing in the area and have now launched a consultation on our plans to deliver new affordable homes on land at Horrocks Mill, located between Queen Street and Church Street within walking distance of Preston City Centre. Our plans for Horrocks Mill support our wider ambitions to deliver a transformative redevelopment of the area. A consultation on the plans closed on 26th June.
